The longer the pause in fighting, the more hostages and prisoners are released by Hamas and by Israel. This was the status of HOSTAGES TAKEN BY HAMAS as of Tuesday. Four people died in captivity. Two of the hostages still held are below the age of 6, and five are aged 80 or older. (via @nytimes)

Main takeaway: Hamas has released most of those aged under 6 but it is still holding over 100 hostages.
