2024 PRESIDENTIAL RACE
President Trump got a standing ovation at his New Hampshire town hall hosted by CNN. But the audience was mainly one of Trump supporters. The former president handled himself in his trademark manner, which means that he has lost none of the verve and fighting spirit of 2016 and 2020. The show's moderator, Kaitlan Collins, was rhetorically encircled on a few occasions. But this had more to do with Mr. Trump's unconventional approach and with his supportive live audience.
He will be 78 years old on Election Day 2024, and five months older than Joe Biden was on Election Day 2020. One difference is that due to the Covid pandemic, candidate Biden did not follow the customary grueling campaigning schedule. Many of his appearances were via Zoom etc. Now after Covid, both Trump and Biden will have to revert to the good old-fashioned intensive regime of multiple daily appearances in separate states. Mr. Trump is known for his high energy and could meet the test more easily…
