There is no data on Yemen for the GDP PER CAPITA chart below, but the World Bank estimated it in 2018 at a meager $700 down from $1,500 in 2014, the year that its civil war started. The 2021 GDP per capita of Israel, Iran, Lebanon and Palestine were $42,000, $15,000, $13,000 and $5,600 respectively. Israel’s has climbed more or less steadily since 1995. Iran’s grew from $10,000 in 1991 to about $15,000 in 2007 but has stagnated since. Lebanon’s came out of its civil war at around $6,000 in 1990 and climbed to $19,000 in 2007, but then was marred by poor governance, the Syria war, and a financial collapse. Palestine’s experienced some modest growth from 2005 to 2018 but remains low. (via Our World in Data)
