US LEADING ECONOMIC INDICATORS are signaling a recession. In the past, a prolonged decline in the LEI, such as we are seeing now, has usually preceded a recession. The most recent year-on-year change was up but only marginally so. It remains at -7.6%. (via @BennettWoodman)
